Our Story

Where it started

Louis started his hospitality career in his local pub, this is where he first noticed the need for a ready-to-drink cocktail. Making cocktails fresh in a high paced environment was a challenge, it was costly and time consuming to train the staff and even after their training, lots wouldn't remember how to make the cocktails and they would struggle to make them consistently and with speed.

Louis looked at the ready-to-drink options on the market but none of them tasted very nice, sure, they might have been "bar quality" but that was only due to a high ABV, not the actual taste of the cocktail which we'd argue is a fairly important part!

Louis' First Solution

After testing lots of his own recipes, Louis started bottling cocktails in batches ready to be used during the busy days ahead of them at the pub. He designed the cocktails so all you would need to do is empty the contents of the bottle into a shaker and shake with ice.

After The Pub

Louis ended up leaving his local pub to pursue a career with PizzaExpress. Whilst working at PizzaExpress he noticed they used 1 Litre bottles of pre-mixed cocktails. These still had their issues and it was still time consuming to find the shaker, find the right lid to match the tin, measure out the cocktail, shake it with ice and then strain it. Often the shaker would pop open if you weren't careful and you'd spill the cocktail everywhere which massively slows you down during a busy shift. He also found that lots of these 1 Litre pre-mixed cocktails and single serve RTD cocktails tasted awful. This is when he had his light bulb moment!

He then ventured down the path of creating his own ready-to-drink cocktail range at 18 years old!

Shake Bottle and Pour

Louis came up with the brilliant idea to leave space in the bottles for the cocktails which need shaking such as the Passion Fruit Martini. This means all you need to do is pickup a chilled bottle from the fridge, shake the bottle and pour, it's as simple as that!

Not only is this a game changer for the hospitality industry but it's also brilliant for those who like to indulge in cocktails at home - no more mess, no more long prep times and no more buying lots of individual bottles of spirits which ends up costing a fortune. Just "Shake Bottle and Pour"! It's now as easy as a can of beer or a glass of wine.

Whilst there were already canned alternatives already on the market that had a similar functionality regarding the shaking, they tasted horrendous and they never produced a great head - this is likely due to the limitations with the recipe when canning a beverage. Find out more here.
